SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIESSupport That Meets Children Where They Are

Behavioral health needs can affect a child at home, at school, and within the community. CBHI provides pathways to home- and community-based services that can involve children, caregivers, clinicians, schools, and other appropriate supports.

In-Home Therapy (IHT)

Family-centered behavioral health treatment delivered in the youth's natural environment. Our clinicians work with youth and caregivers to strengthen family functioning, communication, and stability.

Therapeutic Training & Support (TT&S)

Works as part of the IHT team to help families practice therapeutic strategies, strengthen skills, and implement the treatment plan in everyday life.

Therapeutic Mentoring (TM)

Structured, one-to-one therapeutic support that helps youth develop age-appropriate social, communication, problem-solving, and daily living skills.

Care Coordination

Helps connect families with appropriate members of the child’s behavioral health support system when coordination is part of the service plan.

WHY FAMILY-CENTERED SUPPORT MATTERSChild-Centered Care. Family Partnership. Practical Support.

Every child and family has different circumstances. Our approach focuses on understanding the child’s behavioral health needs while recognizing the important role caregivers and other appropriate supports can play in the care process.

Child-Centered Support

Services are organized around the child’s behavioral health needs, strengths, circumstances, and identified goals.

Family Partnership

Caregivers can participate in appropriate services and treatment activities that support the child’s behavioral health goals.

Skill Building

Applicable services can help children and youth develop practical skills related to emotional regulation, communication, behavior, relationships, and daily functioning.

Coordinated Support

When appropriate to the service plan, coordination can involve families, providers, schools, and other members of the child’s support system.

HOW SUPPORT BEGINSA Clear Path Toward Behavioral Health Support

Our process begins by helping families understand the behavioral health concerns, available services, referral pathway, and requirements that may apply to the child. Services are then matched to the child’s needs and established treatment goals.
